Channel's: Christian TV

The channels in the US you can receive are advertiser supported, or broadcaster supported FTA channels, and subscription channels that require a certain brand of card based Set-Top-Box (satellite channel tuner) that you own and can subscribe through. DFH Home Satellite provides the Romanian channels and lower tier channels seen using any FTA receiver. Globecast WorldTV has FTA channels provided, as well as Pay TV channels; in many languages; and AdventistSat, who sells Glorystar and provides the most Christian Channels available anywhere, and the ONLY Free To Air ONLY embedded card platform of its type for use in the US.

How it works: One satellite space, at 97 degrees West, is occupied by a very strong KU band satellite called Galaxy 19. It's location is in such a place Broadcasters can send a signal to a very large area of North and South Amercia; from this "spot" in space; including the ability for signals to be sent from western or eastern Continents as relayed to G19 by the Communication's Satellite's design (International long distance). This allows a wide range of broadcasters (they broadcast both the fta channel's and the pay subscription using their stb) to be able to progress their signals to North America, and thus, the programming and channels can be received by American satellite dishes cheaply and efficiently. With the newest digital formats today; channels can even number over 200 on one satellite; plus more channels can be added using switched multi-sat and even diplexed ATSC systems with mods; same as old equipment used in the past; still being their best place to broadcast.

The number of FTA channels found here, therefore varies year to year and even day to day since going over 200 (in 1992 there were only 5 channels). Subscription services are also found here; and number up to 100 or more; and cost from 3.95 mo. to 825 hr. for its use (you provide the video).

What it does:

The linear KU Band of signals Galaxy 19 broadcasts come in many different languages, formats, and provide subscription as well as Free To Air programming. Over 200 Free To Air channels are Broadcast here, all of which come from many different Broadcast Companies. A few of which you may have heard of are: Glorystar, Globecast, and DFH. There are many levels of broadcast services available, and to keep it short, each of the broadcasts provide subscrption's and Free To Air channels in different languages, or multiple languages, to a very well staked out market in the US, Canada, and Mexico as well as South and the Pacific to the West Coast of the US (. Almost every part of the World is represented here; including Africa, Australia, Asia and Russia from the west coast; plus you could say it has ALL RELIGIONS represented also. Depending on which one you want to watch; favorite/recall/#1's are channels you pay for in every pay system. glorystar programs your satellite stb for their channels fta.
