Dish/antenna Installation requirements -> channels available using satellite dish of type and local antenna of type required; site survey with cable/type/hdtv count/existing system/added DVR / location / Network ID PIP, AC3 audio; on-screen development, selector- This determines the type of WORK REQUIRED; THE EQUIPMENT AND TOOLS NEEDED; and location of the satellite/local antenna's outside placement; where a signal for the channel's you want can be received (THE PLAN).
You choose the channel's available via each type of antenna/dish/set-up/network by finding what is available in your area's. This is accomplished in homes and businesses throughout the America's (and is called your gps coordinates compared to the signals direction; or you are a spot on this map and these satellites and tp's are available; and these are the satellite aiming coordinates and skew's for each), by finding a place where their antenna has no obstructions from receiving the signal or signals you want to receive (Satellite DVB-S2). Nothing can be allowed to get between (obstruct) the Free To Air signals and the satellite antenna's aim; like tree's, buildings, T.I. (interfering signals); anything that can get in the way of; or between; your antenna and the signals it can then receive.

This arc is called "Clarke's Arc"; nor are they all DBS as a type (most pay channels; how many do you really not have to pay for) Owned Satellites. Thee needed parts also need to be bent into this arc; as they are made mostly for DBS typed configs (not needing to use the middle of the dish). The "bends" are of the flat bars, or straight metal; and are very hard bends to make; really because of the thickness of the "designers" heads. I wrote this and other webpages because i can do this in my sleep; after receiving the arc for so many years for the people; and the arc then is available without a motor also. re: attract's itself to the arc and work required is a DBS (direct broadcast services) provider mentality; as they do not have to do this work any at all (they are paid to set-up the dish and receiver with coax and aim the dish that is basically ready to aim at up to 5 satellite using a 5 feed system they own; easily in about 10 seconds because their signals are so very strong and easy to find; by any FTA Installer also); and their pay tv it is; is already set-up for their equipment and installs. FTA equipment is not; and must be installed as well as tuned; plus programmed by the user; or "your spot on the map of the world". And then you get to attach each low power ku satellite you want. The effective look depends on the dish used, and it's static placement (no obstructions to any aimed satellite). For fitting to the dish, you must curve them to the halo of coma's that are each satellite received, without shadowing each other (keeping the lnbf's static unmoving also). New dishes with lnbf holders in place are made to only one size, needing the extra parts commercial styled dishes like Winegard use as the many sized LNBf today fits almost any lnbf made with included mount parts.
